Daljeet Singh Sandhu

Latham- Daljeet Singh Sandhu, 75, passed away on July 4, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. He is the son of the late Pritam Kaur and Dewan Singh.
Daljeet earned his bachelors degree of engineering from Rourkela Regional College in India, and later his masters of engineering degree from the University of Toronto in Canada.
Daljeet made the Capital District his home and retired from the Dormitory Authority of NY in 2019 after 32 years of service.
Daljeet's interests included gardening, photography, home improvement projects, traveling and tennis.
Daljeet is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deniz; his three daughters, Rana (Muzaffar) Ahmad, Inderjeet Sandhu-Gay, and Jasleen Sandhu; his four grandchildren, Rubina and Rayhan Ahmad, and Ayse and Amir Gay; his brother, Surjeet (Bhuphinder) Sandhu; his sister in law, Jasbir Sandhu; and his four nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, Daljeet is predeceased by his brother, Harjeet Sandhu.
A service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 3pm at Oakwoood Cemetery, 50 101st St, Troy, NY 12180.
