ROTTERDAM - Dana John Flores, 48, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016.
Dana was born on January 29, 1968 in Albany and is the son of Helen (Pickert) Flores and the late Octavio Flores. Survived by his loving family, Lisa and Bryce Flores; his siblings, Darlene (Harry) Shufelt, James (Patricia) Flores, Gustavo (Theresa) Flores, Bernarda Elena "Bonnie" (Gene) O'Brien, and Charles Flores; and many nieces and nephews. He loved and was loved by many close friends.
He was a Technician Manager for Safelite Auto Glass in Guilderland and previously a mechanic. Dana loved spending time with his son, Bryce, laughing, talking, riding dirt bikes, and fishing. Dana enjoyed a life long love with Lisa. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, cars, his dog Emma and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed and forever remembered for his generous spirit, helping others and his kind soul.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 29th, at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
