Daniel J. De Paula

Daniel J. De Paula, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side. Dan was the son of the late Daniel and Jeanette De Paula. Dan was the devoted husband of over 46 years to Judith A. De Paula.

Dan was an avid fly fisherman, he loved camping and boating in the Adirondacks, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Dan is survived by his wife Judy, his sons, Brett and Mark (Debbie) Battista. He was the cherished grandfather of Breanna, Jacob and Michael Battista. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Carol (Larry) Robert, Thomas (Eileen) De Paula and Janet Budd as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Wednesday January 10, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

The family like to thank the Colonie EMT and Police Department for the care they gave to Dan and his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association - PO Box 240692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in Dan's memory.
