Daniel E. Hatch

ALBANY- Daniel E. Hatch of Albany, NY passed away on October 16, 2024 after a long illness. Dan graduated from Chatham High School in 1977.

A few years after graduating, Dan entered the US Army. After his years with the army, Dan worked several different jobs before he settled as a waiter for 18 years for Denny's.

Dan was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Ruth Hatch. Also, by his sisters Diane, Patty and Kathy who Dan had a special relationship with even though each may have been different.

Dan is survived by his brothers Harry and Bobby as well as his nephew and beloved godson, David. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who each had a special place in his heart.

Dan had many dear friends and one was Eric VanWormer and also his brother-in-law Mike Malone, who were both there for him for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204, in Dan's name.

Services will be held for Dan on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM with an interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
