Daniel J. Lennon

LATHAM – Daniel J. Lennon, 76, of Latham, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Albany. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (McCarthy) Lennon. Daniel was the retired co-founder of Lennon's Florist and founder of Lennon's Pools, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Lennon and his beloved daughters, Brenda Lennon of Latham and Susan (Conor) Lennon Sheehan of Rotterdam. Also surviving is his brother, Robert Lennon and the late Noreen, William and John Lennon.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Augustine's Church (4th Ave. and 115th St), Troy at 10:30 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Daniel J. Lennon.
