COLONIE - Daniel F. Judge, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Dan had an illustrious career. He worked for GE, Niagara Mohawk and PSEG. He was the youngest "Master Electrician" in Albany at the age of only 23 years old. He was on the Planning Commission and the Traffic & Safety Committee for the Village of Colonie. He was active with the seniors and served on the Board of the Thunder Road Seniors. He recently started teaching at BOCES as a part-time instructor for the Adult Electrical Training Program.
Dan loved his family immensely. He leaves behind his wife, Jackie; his children, Richard Judge (Terena), Kevin Judge, Dana Harding (Stephen), Katie Siska (Jason); his grand dogger, Moose; his sister, Nancy Hourigan (Doug); his brother, Richard Judge; his cherished niece, Kelly Hession (Jesse) and his beloved nephew, Joseph Hourigan (Mayra). Further loved ones include the following families: the Devines, the Levernois, the Masones, the Rosses and the Sullivans. He was predeceased by his parents, Emerson and Margaret Judge and his brothers, Edward and Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 21, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
