Daniel L. Mckinley

Albany, NY – Daniel L. McKinley, 85, passed away on March 20, 2010. Born in Dora, Missouri, Dan was educated at the University of Missouri, coming to Albany in 1966 to teach in the biology department at the State University of Albany, from where he retired in 1989. Dan is survived by his wife, Margaret (O'Brien) McKinley; his daughter, Kathleen; his son, Paul (Barbara) and his grandchildren, Martha, Amy, Daniel and Sarah. Also surviving is his brother, Dewayne (Venita).
In keeping with Dan's wishes, there will be no formal services. Those who wish may make a remembrance in Dan's name to the Nature Conservancy at www.nature.org.
