Daniel L. O'Brien

Latham- Daniel L. O'Brien, 90, of Latham, entered into eternal life on Sunday September 20, 2009. Born in Troy on May 25, 1919 , he was the son of the late Lagorian O'Brien and Mary Marchand.
Mr. O' Brien served as a 2nd lieutenant in the US Army during World War II. He was employed by the NYS Department of Civil Service as a medical administrator for thirty years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary S. O'Brien; his son, Daniel T. O'Brien of Rio Rancho, N.M.; his daughters, Darcy M. O'Brien of Albany and Rebecca Firor of Annapolis, MD. He was predeceased by his son, David L. O'Brien of Latham.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, with a prayer service to follow at 1:00. Interment will be Thursday at 12:00 p.m. in Saratoga National Cemetery.
