ROTTERDAM - Daniel P. Ryan, 44, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Daniel was born on June 27, 1963 in Albany, the son of Raymond C. and Edna A. Markert Ryan. He worked as a document clerk for the NYS Assembly for 24 years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Giants and Yankees fan.
In addition to his parents of Schenectady, Daniel is survived by his sister, Kathleen M. Dickey of Clifton Park; his brother, John J. Ryan of Schenectady; his aunt, Joan Whipple of Rensselaer and his uncle, Rev. Leo F. Markert of Glenville. He is also survived by additional aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 3040 Hamburg St., Schenectady. Interment will follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Glenmont. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.
