Daniel Rising

ALBANY – Daniel E. Rising, 52, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. Born in Lyons, NY, he is the beloved son of Margaret Rising Fontaine and the late Donald D. Rising. Mr. Rising was a graduate of North Rose-Wolcott High School. After high school, he served for ten years in the United States Marine Corps. Dan is the beloved husband of 19 years to Peggy A. (Bennett) Rising. He is the devoted father of Tracy Paylor, Erica, Brianna, Joey and Donald Rising and Bob, Gina, Julie and Jamie Martin. He is the brother of Gary (Pat) Rising of Kissimmee, FL and Doc (Patti) Rising of Macedon, NY. Also surviving are his eleven cherished grandchildren, his faithful friend and neighbor, Fred Potter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. At the request of the family, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Center for Donation & Transplant, 218 Great Oaks Blvd., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Daniel E. Rising.
