Danna Mary Anderson

Danna Mary Anderson, 66, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Born in Albany, New York on May 26, 1955, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dian (Davis) Anderson and Frank Anderson Sr. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Jarrett and Lance and her lifelong companion Atress. Danna was also the loving sister of Wayne, Frank Jr. and Jon. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Shamiara (Apple Head), Javarri, Isiah, little Jon, Isaiah, Nickie, Imani, Autumn, Elias, Joy, Franchesca, Alayna, Damon, Donyale, and Rafael. Several great nieces, nephews and a goddaughter, Olivia.

Danna worked as a quality assurance control monitor at Magellan Health in Albany where she retired. She loved late night shopping for jewelry on the Liquidation channel, sharing old life stories and talking on facetime with her niece Shamiara. She also loved playing the lottery, watching YouTube and Dr. Pimple popper videos. Danna was the true definition of "Her Brother's Keeper" she loved all of her baby brothers so much and would do anything for them.

Viewing will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 2pm-4pm. A service will begin at 4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner
Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. All offerings, comforts, and condolences will be accepted at 6p.m. Friday at the 137 Jay Street Schenectady, NY 12305.
