Dante M. Richards

Dante Michael Richards, 50, of Schenectady, passed away on September 28,2024, at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Schenectady on November 19, 1973, he was the son of Leslie Everett Richards and Bonita Cade.

Dante was a gentle soul who had love for everyone. He was a true fan of Michael Jackson, The NY Mets, The Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Pistons. His passion was playing sports, cooking and taking care of his dogs, Flex and Gemini.

He is predeceased by his brother, Leslie Williams Cade and sister, Asia-Lynn Wilson.

Dante is survived by his parents, Leslie Everett Richards (Catherine) and Bonita Cade; his partner and his “Sweet Face”, Kimberly Richards; Siblings, Eric, Shannon and Travis Richards, Tammy Sanders-Giboney (Breslin); Step –Siblings, William Buck, Terra Coggan and Carla All; Children, Corey Chander, Shantae Fennicks and Sha-Quinn Asia Lynn Strong; Grandchildren, Orlando and Amara; Special niece, Selena Canton; Goddaughter, Myka Dellarocco and favorite cousins: Norman Podrazik, Sean Richards and Roderick Bushey. He also leaves behind several Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces to cherish his memory.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.

Repass will follow the services at 1 Robinson St, Schenectady, NY at 4:30 p.m.
