Darlene A. Bennett

ALBANY-Darlene A. Bennett, 57 passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Binghamton, NY the daughter of Arlene (Wolff) Bennett and the late Richard Bennett. She graduated from Eldred Central Schools, Eldred, NY and earned an Associate's Degree from SUNY Cobleskill. Darlene was employed by the Albany Police Department.
In addition to her mother Arlene Bennett, Darlene is survived by her sister Randy Robinson (Aaron); niece Leah Robinson, nephew Benjamin Robinson (Ellen), great nieces and nephews Magdalena, Herschel and Dietrich. She is also survived by her aunt Louise Wade (Ron) and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice Inn in memory of Darlene.
