Darlene A. Singley

January 5, 1943 — January 22, 2012

Darlene A. Singley, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at St. Peters Hospital with her family by her side. Darlene was born in Albany and was raised in Trumansburg. She loved Cape Cod, baking, painting, canning, making crafts and laughing and spending time with her family. She was an enterprising woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, William and W. Marie Allen and her late husband, Howard "Spike" Singley.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Richard Relyea; her beloved children, Vincent (Patty) Singley, Brenda (Kim Spoonhower) Stiffen, Paul (Tammy Crandall) Singley and her extended sons, Scott Caswell and Tommy Fine. She is the sister of Jeanne (Albert) Sacca and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
