Darlene D. Savoca

March 30, 1949 — January 14, 2015

Darlene D. Savoca, 65, passed away on January 14, 2015 at her home. She was born in Albany to the late William and Isabella Calder.

Darlene graduated from Colonie Central High School. She worked for Xerox Corporation for many years as a computer salesperson.

She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat with her friends, and spending time with her family.

She was also a big inspiration and very supportive in her sons electrical contracting business.

Darlene had a love for animals, she adored her companions; Reebok, Sasha, Bella and Gia.

Darlene is survived by her son Geneo and his wife Tricia Savoca; her brother Wayne and his wife Bobbi Calder; she is the cherished grandmother of Geneo Jr., and Gianna Savoca. She is also survived by her dear friend Joy Woodard and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and several close friends.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Grace Fellowship Church, 20 Delatour Road #1, Watervliet, New York 12189. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens.
