Darlene Walters

Albany - Darlene M. Walters, 68, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Darlene was the daughter of the late Eugene and Shirley Trop. Darlene was the devoted wife to the late Howard C. Walters, Jr. They were married 43 years.

Darlene was an LPN and Home Health Aide before retiring to spend time with her family. Darlene loved to buy and sell Avon. She also loved her dog, Sheba and her cats. Darlene enjoyed cooking and baking as well as taking "everyone" to WrestleMania.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Nicole M. Walters; her former daughter-in-law, Barbara Walters; her cousin, Susan Fuller; her grandchildren, Timothy L.(Joanna Calcavecchia) Walters, Justin L.(Amber Davis) Walters, Amber D.S. Walters, Mariah Wray; and several great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Darlene is predeceased by her son, Howard C. Walters, III.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie on Friday, August 26 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm . A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Albany Rural Cemetery.
