Capital District - Davia A. Doyle, 70, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 peacefully at her home. Davia was the daughter of Joseph Russo and the late Davia Russo, and was the wife of over 25 years to the late John E. Doyle, Sr.
Davia enjoyed gardening, and going to the beach, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Davia is survived by her father: Joseph Russo; children: Melissa Doyle-Sanchez, Amy Blankenship, Kelly Vaughn, and John E. Doyle, Jr.; grandchildren; Lucan J. Sanchez, Aric J. Sanchez, Lyssandra M. Sanchez, Skylar R. Blankenship, Jon D. Blankenship Jr., Mackenzie A. Vaughn, Jack H. Vaughn, Delaney A. Vaughn, John (Trey) E. Doyle III, and Hannah Davia-Grace Doyle.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home. The burial will follow services at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Davia's name to the American Cancer Society at: 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY, 12110.
