ALBANY- Davia M. Russo, 92, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 8th, 2014, at Albany Medical Center.
Davia was born on July 21st, 1922, in Albany, NY, to the late Lester and Eleanor Johnson. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Russo for 69 years.
She will be remembered by her loving daughter, Davia Doyle-Hansen, her grandchildren; Melissa, Amy, Kelly, and John, and her great-grandchildren; Lucan, Skylar, Aric, Jon, Lyssandra, John Tre, Mackenzie, Jack, Delaney, and soon to be "Baby Doyle", a host of nieces and nephews, and Christine Hornberger, who has been like a daughter to her.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Friday, December 12th, 2014, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014, at 11:30am, at the funeral home.
