David B. Benedict

RENSSELAER, NY – David B. Benedict, 57, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the V.A. Hospital in Albany, after a long illness. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late George Desderosier and Mildred D. Benedict. Dave lived in the Albany area for most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Dave worked for Argus Greenwood in Albany for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dave is the brother of Jeanne Hahn, Theodore Hahn, June Palmer, Sharon McKittrick-Fink, Steve Osuchowski, Bonita Paquin, Tammy Moscatelli, Maryanne Snow, Richard Benedict and "Jackie". Also surviving are Katie and Kristen Devlin and several nieces and nephews. Dave's family would like to thank the staff of the V.A. Hospital for all of the help and support they gave to Dave during his illness.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
