David A. Boisclair

Boisclair, David A. WATERVLIET, 75, passed away Thursday February 13, 2025, with his loving family by his side. David was the son of the late Armond and Winifred Boislcair. 

David was a union painter for 35 years a member of Local 201. David had a passion for hunting and fishing, he loved spending time at the log cabin he built at his family camp in Woodbury Vermont. 

David was a dedicated member of his community; in 1979 he became a volunteer fire fighter of the Schyler Heights Fire Department and was chief for several years. 

David was the devoted husband to Carol Boisclair, they were married for 56 years.

David is survived by his siblings Carol (Cindy) Naberezny and Sandy Hart his children David Jr. (Michelle) Boisclair and Daniel (Tara) Boisclair, three grandsons Daniel Jr. (Bobbisue) Boisclair, Lucas (Sarah) Boisclair and David Boisclair III and four great grandson James, Oliver, Clay and Theodore and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A Last Call will be held beginning at 7:00 pm.
