His love and energetic approach to life motivated him to pursue many interests. He adored his life and home on the Hudson River, boating and jet skiing as often as he could. David loved cooking and entertaining, and hosted memorable parties at his home with his dear friends. He accomplished levels of mastery in various martial arts, taking a special interest in Thai Chi in the past few years.
He leaves behind his beloved Renée Santore and her daughter, Sydney Sidoti; sisters Jacquelyn Brickman and Janice Carey; brothers Josh and Jake Brickman; nephews Samson, Max and Alex Contompasis, and Michael Carey; an uncle, Arthur Brickman (Carol) and cousins Annie, Ellen, David and Stephen Brickman and Andrea Scheviak. He was predeceased by an uncle, Norman Brickman (Dorice), and an aunt, Miriam Brickman (Ronald Senator).
David had many friends whom he held close to his big heart. He especially loved Rich Kupferman, Peter and Andrew Sommers, Holly Trexler, Trevor Hannigan, and Brian Lutz.
David was one of the proverbial good guys with a larger-than-life personality who made the world a better place. He was brilliant. His time on Earth is over, but his star will shine brightly over everyone he knew.
