David C. Willis

Schenectady- David C. Willis, 65, passed away Wednesday November 11th 2015 at his residence in Rensselaer. David was the son of the late Christopher and Muriel Willis.

David was born in Albany and worked for General Electric for 35 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, riding his bike, drawing, listening to music, spending time with his family and working.

David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, JoAnn Willis, his children; Azure Willis-Martin and her husband Cortez, Drue Willis and his wife Ashley. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Cortez Jr., London, Drue, Nicholas, Xevi-Cortez, Kashiem, Jada and J'Quail, his siblings; Sharon (Ron), Paul (Monique), Tonya (Rocky), Gayle (Ronnie) and Kelly (Cheryl) and his in-laws; Kim (George) and Ethel. Mr. Willis will also be remembered by a host of family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9:00am-11:00am. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. A repass will follow the interment at 460 Forbes Avenue, Rensselaer, NY 12144 in the Community Room.
