LATHAM - David M. Coppola, 63, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born in Troy, NY on August 29, 1954 and was the son of the late Sonny and Dorothy Coppola. He retired from the NYS Dept. of OMRDD as a Direct Care Staff and previously worked for the Arizona State Prison System. He loved his cameras where he took a lot of wildlife photography and exploring the outdoors of the Adirondacks on his motorcycles. He enjoyed his retirement with photography, painting, gardening, and being in nature.
David is survived by longtime companion, Cathy Coughlin; two daughters, Rachel A. (Josh) Keeler and Aisha M. (Andrew) Goettl; his two granddaughters, Morgan and Cassidy Goettl; his siblings, Joan and John Coppola.
David's wishes were to have no services and those wishing to make a contribution may do so to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Ste 480, Columbia, MD 21044.
