David Edward Buehler

SELKIRK – David Edward Buehler, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Dave was born on December 11, 1946 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and was the son of the late John "Jack" Anthony Buehler and Edith Williams Buehler. He was a feed plant worker for Agway in Altamont for over 30 years, before retiring in 2001. He enjoyed bowling, watching TV, having a nice cold beer, and spending time with family - especially with his grandchildren. He was a member for over 40 years with the Bethlehem Elks Lodge #2233 before they merged with Colonie Lodge #2192.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judith M. (Kirchman) Buehler; his loving children, Howard (Diane) Buehler, Laura (Kevin) Spencer, and Edith (Michael) Wolbert; his cherished grandchildren, Heather A. Spencer, Leyton T. Spencer, Brandon M. Wolbert and Mackenzie L. Wolbert; his brother, John Buehler; his sister, Barbara Buehler and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Cathy Reed.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
