COLONIE – David D. Gervais, 64, of Colonie passed away Sunday night after a long illness.
He was born in Albany on May 24, 1958 a son of Dennis and Shirley Ann (Lehman) Gervais and attended local schools.
David, along with his father and brother, owned and operated Gervais Seal Coating in Colonie for many years.
David enjoyed Elvis Presley. He loved singing and performed many of his songs in nightclubs in the Capital Region.
David was predeceased by his father, Dennis.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley; his longtime partner, Karen Murray; his sister, Sharon (Ed) Kay; his brother, Brian (Maribeth) Gervais; his niece, JaAni Gervais; his nephew, Eric Gervais and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be held from 10 am to 12 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 12pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Online condolences may be expressed at www.NewComerAlbany.com
