David Gorsage

NISKAYUNA- David Alan Gorsage, 53, of Niskayuna, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 14, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Niskayuna and was the son of the late Eugene and Sophie Gorsage.
David was a GE baby and recognized as part of the 75th anniversary of General Electric. A lifelong resident of Niskayuna, he graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1971 and attended Schenectady Community College. David enjoyed a 33 year career in Outdoor Advertising business. He was associated with the former Ruth and Whiteco companies and more recently as a devoted employee at Lamar Outdoor Advertising. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #294 and Chevy Avalanche Owners Club. Dave enjoyed the outdoors and boating and was a lifelong animal lover.
He is survived by his five brothers, John, Gene, Robert, Marc and Paul Gorsage. He is the uncle of Jason, Justin, Christopher, Peter and Kea-Anna.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Saturday from 10am to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
