David Hartman

COLONIE, NY – David J. Hartman of Colonie, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 15, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, NY on February 26, 1948, he is the loving son of Frederick A. Hartman and the late Frances Hartman. Mr. Hartman was an Albany area resident for all of his life. He was an avid fisherman and especially loved spending time on his boat in Lake George. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and football. Dave's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially on holidays and special family gatherings. In addition to his father, he is survived by his beloved wife, Ginni Hartman. He was the beloved husband of the late Carole Hartman. Dave is the devoted father of David M. Hartman, Meredith M. Hartman, Amy Eaton and Amanda Eaton. He is the loving brother of Frederick J. Hartman and Lucia (Brian) Boyle. Dave is the cherished grandfather of Kayla and David M. Hartman and Aiden Eaton. Also surviving are many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Dave's family would like to extend a special thank you to Community Hospice of Albany, the C.R. Wood Cancer Center and Dr. Michael Castro for all of the care and support given to Dave and his family during his illness.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave).
