David Roy Hayes, also known as DJ Kuttmasta Supreme, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Albany, New York, at the age of 55.
He was born on June 4, 1968, in Albany, New York.
David is survived by his wife, Filomena (Phyllis) DeMaria-Hayes; his children: Shaquan David Hayes, Annalys Marie Hayes, and Sorel Evans; his grandchildren: Malaya Hayes and Jayceon Evans; stepchildren: Gina Gardy, Nicholas Gardy, and Anthony Jefferson; his sisters: Beverly Hayes, Bernice Hayes, Barbara Hayes, Darlene Hayes (former spouse); his niece, Laquinta Hayes and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Anna Hayes, father Leroy Hayes, sons Shakeem Edward Hayes and Elijah Goodwin and brother Michael Robinson.
David Hayes held various occupations throughout his life and had a passion for being a DJ.
He was a baptized member of the Capital City Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by New Comer Cremation & Funerals in Watervliet, NY.
A public memorial service will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 137 Central Avenue, Albany, NY from 5pm-10pm.
