David J. Miller, 62, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born January 28, 1952, at Ogdensburg, New York, the son of the late, Quinton and Harriet Miller.
David graduated from Colonie Central High School with the class of 1971. He was a volunteer fireman from 1970 to 1986; worked most of his life in the automotive industry.
Most recently he served as a Chaplain with New York State Stock Car Association as a faithful servant of the Lord, and unselfishly gave his time to the racing community.
David enjoyed golf, fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela L. Miller; his children, Jennifer (Christopher) Muzzi and Danielle (Jose Hernandez) Miller. He is the brother of Janet (Richard) Graham, Kenneth Miller, John (Karen) Miller. He is the grandfather of DeLaira Muzzi; step grandfather to Rachelle and Lesli Hernandez. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 14,2014 at 1:00 pm at the Loundonville Community Church, 374 Rt. 9, Loudonville, NY. Calling hours will be on Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the service in the Memory Gardens, Colonie.
