PRESTON HOLLOW – David L. Tobin, 63, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
David was born on July 4, 1949 in Troy and was the son of the late William F. and Alyda B. (Jeffers) Tobin. He worked for the Colonie Block/Malta Tank Co. in Colonie for ten years before retiring in 2010.
David is survived by his loving and devoted partner of 31 years, Michele A. Curtis; his loving daughter, Kristin Tobin; three grandchildren and his "two little girls", Sweet Pea and Lulu. He is also survived by his siblings, Marion (Joe) Wixted, William (Vye) Tobin, LeRoy Tobin, and Holly Stover and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jonathan and Kenneth Tobin.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd. St., NY, NY 10128 in memory of David L. Tobin.
