GUILDERLAND- David L. Wyatt, 75, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, with his family by his side.
David was born to the late Wilson and Maude Wyatt, on February 20, 1939, in Washington, DC. In 1957 David joined the United States Navy, where he served on the U.S.S. Macon. He began his career at IBM in Washington, DC, in 1960. He retired in 1992 as an advisory engineer.
David enjoyed wood working and history, especially the Civil War. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. In his retirement he worked part time at Sears in Kingston's tool department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Wyatt, of 55 years, his children; Laurie Decker, David Wyatt, his grandchildren; Lindsey, Michael, and Sarah, his sister, Barbara (George) Johnson, and his in-laws; Eileen Boice, and Mike Decker, and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date in Virginia.
