COLONIE- David M. D'Agostino, 25, passed away peacefully on Friday March 14, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Albany and is the beloved son of Deborah M. Kuhn D'Agostino and Frank (Patricia) D'Agostino.
David was a 2006 graduate of Union College and had studied abroad in England. He had worked part time at Red Lobster Restaurant and more recently was a self employed disc jockey known as DJ WITS. Despite David's blindness, he lived life to the fullest without any limitations. His adventures included golfing, water tubing, skydiving and participating as a stock car driver. David traveled extensively around the world. He was determined, passionate, generous and persistent. He will be remembered for his unconditional kindness and love to all of his family and friends. Never one to judge others, David was inspirational to everyone and embraced all with a genuine and sincere appreciation for who they were individually. He enjoyed the holidays, Green Bay Packers, and love for music.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his grandfather, Herbert B. (Lois) Kuhn Sr. of Vero Beach, FL and the late Almyrta Kuhn; and Frank P. and Estelle D'Agostino. He is the nephew of Herbert B. (Kyoko) Kuhn Jr., Jeff Kuhn, Rosemary (Mark) Bamford, Carol (John) Lovely. Brother to Kevin (Kerry) Bailey and Bridget (Brian) Van Zutphen. David is also survived by his devoted girlfriend Rose Vincent. Many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be Memorys Garden.
