LATHAM - David Patrick Murray, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Peter's Hospital.
David was born on April 24, 1950 in Cohoes and was the son of the late Patrick and Alma (Barard) Murray. He graduated from Cohoes High School. He was a custodian for the North Colonie School District for 27 years before retiring in 2012. He enjoyed gardening, taking long rides in the country and spending time with his family.
David is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years, Joan (Bicknell) Murray; his loving children, Audrey (Michael) McGraw, Jason Murray and Melissa Williams; his adored grandchildren, LaShawna Williams, Alicia Murray, Jovan Williams, Sarah McGraw and Kaylee Williams. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several siblings.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the 5th floor at St. Peter's Hospital for the care that was given to David.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
