Schenectady- David F. Schenmeyer, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was the son of the late Randall and Mary Schenmeyer.
David enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to Blues music. He also enjoyed listening to his Ham radio as well as playing scratch off lottery tickets.
He is survived by his fiancé, Cynthia A. Spaulding and his children, William Schenmeyer and Hollie Engwer. In addition to his fiancé he is survived by his two siblings, Robert Schenmeyer (Shirley) and Judith Schnitzer (Carl) as well as his nephews and grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Satuday, May 27, 2017 from 9:00am-10:00am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.A funeral service will follow starting at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Kidney Foundation online at (www.aakp.org) or the American Diabetes Association online at (www.jdrgf.org).
