David Sherry
December 6, 1956 — July 11, 2014
Guilderland – David E. Sherry, 57, passed away on Friday July 11, 2014 after injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Born in San Antonio, TX, he is the son of Edmond A. Sherry and Carol Ganley.
David died doing what he loved, and that was riding his Harley. He was employed for more than 25 years as Fleet Manager for the City of Albany Department of General Services. David will be remembered for his kind and generous heart.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his daughters, Moriah (Josh Disco) Sherry and Rhianon Sherry; his sisters, Diane Sherry, Leigh Sherry and Lauren Sherry; and his step-mother Kathleen Sherry. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
David was predeceased by his step-father John F. Ganley.
A memorial service for David will be held on Friday July 18th at 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Memorial Contributions may be made in David's name to Moriah and Rhianon Education Fund at any local SEFCU Branch.
