Wynantskill, NY (Taborton Mountain) - David E. Williams (Weaver), 60, passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 27, 2019 with his daughter and niece at his side. David was the son of the late Earl and Dolores Williams.
Weaver could light up a room and make anyone laugh. He was a retired roofer. It was one of his many skills that he demonstrated by working for family and friends throughout his life. Aside from his great sense of humor and bright smile, Weaver loved spending time with his family and friends and he cherished his relationship with his children. His many hobbies included camping, fishing, and cooking. Weaver was a great caregiver, very social and spent many hours talking on the phone. He loved spending countless nights by the fire staring at the stars while listening to his favorite music, classical rock, and was known for always having a can of Molson Ice in his hand. He will be remembered especially for his classic baby spiders in the beard story! His warm presence will be missed by many, especially at the annual Taborton Picnic.
Weaver is survived by his children, David Williams (Antoinette), Jeremy Williams (Sophia), Bruce Williams, Brandon Williams (Samantha), and Heather Williams; grandchildren, Isabella, Conner, Mason, Liliana, Aubree, Jameson, Brooke, and Samson; his siblings, Tina Williams (Jeff), Timothy Williams (Anita), Andrew Williams (Kelly), Brenda DuRose (Mike), Susan Raymond (Bryan), Terri Zuelsdorf (Tim), and Duane Williams; along with his many nieces and nephews. Weaver is pre-deceased by his nephew Jonathan (Bub) Pulenskey.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 10-12:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30.
