Deborah A. Miller

ROTTERDAM – Deborah A. Miller, 58, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 28 2013 at Ellis Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Schenectady and is the daughter of Josephine Donadio Muscanell and the late Lewis Muscanell.
Debbie was a 1973 graduate of Mohonasen High School and Spencer Business Institute. She enjoyed a 36 year career at General Electric Company in Schenectady. Debbie's enjoyment of cooking brought her greatest love for family and friends together. Her beautiful smile brought sunshine to a cloudy day. Her love of life and courage lifted us above her pain & suffering, becoming our hero. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
Debbie is the beloved wife of 32 years to Emery B. Miller Jr. and devoted mother of Stephanie Miller and Michael Miller. She is the cherished grandmother of Joel Miller Martinez.
The family wishes to thank and express their sincere gratitude to their General Electric and Pepsico colleagues and friends for all of their help and support. Special thanks to the entire staff at Ellis Hospital, 6th floor A wing for their compassion and tender care.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery.
