Deborah A. Borrero

Albany- Deborah A. Borrero, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Deborah was the daughter of the late Morgan and Caroline Bates.

Deborah enjoyed being retired, spending time with her family,and traveling.

Deborah is survived by her domestic partner, Reynaldo Maldonado; 3 children: Nicholas Soler (Nicole), Monserrate/Ralph Soler(Suzanne/Anita) & Nina Soler (Johnny); 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Jennifer Borgos (Angel), brother Morgan Bates (Donna); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; cousins; and many loving relatives and friends.

Deborah is predeceased by her parents (Morgan & Caroline Bates), sister (Sandra Bates), sister-in-law (Peggy Bates), brother (Robert Bates), daughter-in-law (Donna Kelly-Soler), grandson (Enrique Maldonado) & granddaughter (Elizabeth Solgallo).

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:30 am at Shrine of Our Lady of the Americas, Central Ave., Albany. Interment will immediately follow the service in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
