Deborah M. Shutter, 65, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Although the strongest person we know, Deb passed away after a short battle with cancer. Deb was the daughter of the late James F. Boniface, Sr. and Norma M. Drucker. Deb was the devoted wife to Robert W. Shutter, Jr. They were married 34 loving years.

Deb was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, love for her animals, and always putting her family first.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Robert W. Shutter Jr.; her children, Dawn (David) Wagoner, Daniel (Jaime) Ross II; her grandchildren, Kelly (Vinny) Tufts, Charles Bartholomew Jr., Tyler Wagoner; great granddaughter, Sophia; brothers, Leon (Lee) Brown and Charles (Melody) Boniface, along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held privately by the family. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.

Donations may be made in Deb's memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
