Debra P. Cox, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Debbie graduated from Shaker High School. After graduation she worked for many years at Marine Midland Bank. She retired after several years from Northeast Career Planning.
She had a deep love of animals all of her life. She was a caring and loving aunt, amazing sister and daughter. She was well loved by her family and friends.
Debbie was the daughter of William the late Elizabeth Cox and sister of Nancy Neary, Suzane Mitchell and James Cox.
In addition to her mother she was predeceased by her brother David Cox. She was also survived by her nephews Joshua Neary, John Neary and Jarod Mitchell and her niece Amy Neary.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at St. Augustine's Church, Fourth and 115th St., Lansingburgh. Bury will follow the Mass at St. John's Cemetery, Troy.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY, 12204.
