Schenectady- Debra M. Myers "Debbie Dew", 62, passed away, on Friday, January 27, 2023. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Gwendolyn and James Woods. Debbie is reunited in heaven with her loving husband Michael Myers.
Debbie was a caretaker working with adults with disabilities with O.D. Heck where she retired. Her life was dedicated to helping others especially her family.
She is survived by her children, Jason Myers, Jessica Myers and Benjamin Myers. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Andrew, Allaura, Brian and Dylan. She is also survived by her siblings David Woods (Mary), Teresa Brueggemann (John), John Woods (Darlene), Dennis Woods, Tim Woods (Kelly) and Matthew Woods (Rachel) as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Debbie is predeceased by her brother James Woods.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will begin at 6pm.
