Glenville-Debra L. Pink, 55, passed away on December 1, 2016 with her family by her side.
She was born on November 17, 1961 daughter of Harry Williams and Joan Jones in Niskayuna, NY.
Debra graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School class of 1979. She earned her Associates Degree at SCCC. She worked as a Supervisor for Schenectady County DSS, retiring after 35 years of service.
Debby was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She was happiest spending time with family especially her 2 grandchildren. She loved to travel and she and her husband enjoyed many trips together.
Debby handled her struggle with breast cancer the same way she lived her life. She never complained and she never stopped living. Her family was her world and she cherished everyday that she was able to spend with them. She will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege to know and love her.
Debby is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Timothy D. Pink; her children; Tami Schrader, Timothy E. Pink; grandchildren, Aiden and Alexa Schrader; her mother, Joan Jones; sister, Laurie (Douglas) Holden; sister-in-law; LuAnn (Jim Olsen) Pink; mother-in-law, Shirley Canam and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Harry Williams; her father-in-law, Edward Pink and her grandparents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10am-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A service to celebrate Debby's life will begin at 1pm at New Comer Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at Schenectady Memorial Park.
