Deloris Liuzzi

Deloris (Ayers) Liuzzi, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home with her loving husband by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Albert and Clara Ayers.

Dee is the devoted wife of over 28 years to Kevin M.. Liuzzi, they have been together for over 42 years.

Dee was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where she served as the President of the Usher Board as well as Head of the Trustee Committee.

She was an avid Yankee fan, loved Siena Basketball and she enjoyed preparing and hosting gatherings for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Robert Ayers.

In addition to her husband, Kevin, Deloris is survived by her daughter Mona (Petey) Bumpers. She is the adored grandmother of PJ and Jasmine Bumpers. She is the God mother of Demetris Barrett and Shvon Smith. She is also survived her two brothers, Bernard (Brenda) Ayers and Marshall (Chummy) Ayers; her aunt Mary Montgomery; her sister-in-law Mary Ayers and a host of close family and friends, especially her best friend of over 44 years, Barbara Landy.

Calling hours will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Avenue, Albany, NY on Friday December 23, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held Friday December 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Church. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.
