GUILDERLAND – Deloris Van Deusen-Heidenreich has left her earthly dwelling on February 15, 2014 to join her beloved husband Stanley Heidenreich and her cat Misty.
Deloris was the daughter of the late Leonard V. Van Deusen and Bertha (Koonz) Van Deusen. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy Van Deusen, Leonard (Mildred) Van Deusen Jr., Florence (Claude) Weekly and Joan (Frank) Nerney.
Deloris graduated from Albany High School and was active in Girl Scouts and Trinity Camp. She was nurse for fifty one years and had worked for Children's Hospital and the operating room at Albany Medical Center. Deloris worked for several years with Drs. Campbell, Clark, Dougherty, Quinn and Myung Kim. She was a longtime member of the Heldeberg Ski Club and associate member of WWII 10th Mountain Division.
Deloris is survived by her siblings, Margaret (Raymond) Stammell, James (Marjorie) Van Deusen and Audrey (William) Branion. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Paula Guidarelli and her step grandson, Anthony Tino and many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Shadow.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 12 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 at the funeral home.
