June 11, 1931 — September 21, 2017

Denise Gilboa Hannmann passed away on September 21, 2017. Born June 11, 1931 in Longueil, Canada to Thomas and Germaine Anselmi. At the age of 7, Denise moved to the Albany area where she was raised.

Denise was employed by the NYS Department of Health as a Supervisor for over 25 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Horst (Dutch) Hannmann; brothers, Roland and Ronald Anselmi and her sister.

Survived by sons, Keith Konis and Kris (Mary) Konis; daughters, Gail Konis and Kim Furman; grandchildren, Jacqueline & Brandon Konis, Amy (Rich) Dunsmore, Edward (Jennifer) Paquin, Samantha (John) Violette, Deven & Kristen Furman and Kara (George) Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Nicholas & Carly Paquin, Kindra, Hayley & Darby Dunsmore, Michael & Ethan Violette; sisters, Mona Anselmi, Jacqueline Anselmi, Jeannine (Claude) Boutgault and Madeline (Aldo) Melucci; brother, Polo Anselmi; step-children, Tommy (Camilla) Hannmann, Kathy & Nancy Hannmann and Patricia (Paul) Caruso. Ten step- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Special thanks to Dr. Roy Fruiterman for his compassionate care over many years.

A memorial service for Denise will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Memorial donations in Denise's name can be made to a charity of one's choice.
