Albany- Denise Henry, 70, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Denise was the daughter of the late Braxton Dillett and Bertha Mae Enlow (Allen).
Denise Henry, a retired certified substance abuse counselor and worked part time as a Gambling Addiction counselor. Denise was an avid basketball connoisseur, movie lover, and enjoyed fine dining. She shared her passion for learning and helping thousands of individuals over the years. Her smile and personality were contagious to everyone she met.
Denise is survived by her daughters, Tonya Teal, Ebonie Henry, Ronise Harris; grand kids, Tonise Teal, Aiesha Teal, Kiramonie Teal, Diora Teal, Monique Teal, Leon Henry, Derrick Moody, La'Vontae Armwood, Jyquone Teal, La'Mond Armwood. Loghan Harris, Londyn Harris. Denise is also survived by her great grand kids, Luis Astacio, Dakota Chappel, Samayha Parham, Diamora Moody. She also leaves behind Dyan Allen, Michelle Allen, and first cousins, Willie and Deborah Clifton, Clifford Brown Jr.
Denise is predeceased by her father, Braxton Dillett; mother, Bertha Mae Enlow (Allen); her grandmother, Estelle Enlow; two uncles, David Enlow, Stanley Enlow, John Enlow and her sister, Sandra Allen.
Services will be held at a later to be determined by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite human service organization.
