Denise Menzies

DELANSON – Denise C. Menzies, 42, of Delanson, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, she is the daughter of Carol Hallenbeck and the late Donald Hallenbeck. She resided in Delanson for most of her life. Denise enjoyed camping and singing in the church choir. She will always be remembered for caring for and helping others in need. Denise is the wife of William J. Menzies. She is the beloved mother of Joshua (Jill)Menzies, Jenna Menzies and James Menzies. She is the sister of Dale Hallenbeck, Debra Griffin and Donna Vanderveen. Denise is the cherished grandmother of Noah Menzies. Also surviving are her faithful canine companions, Duke, Dixie and Darla.
Memorial Services were held on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Denise C. Menzies to a fund to benefit her children at NBT Bank, 4957 Western Turnpike, P.O. Box 159, Duanseburg, NY 12056.
