Dennis "Dj" Bouchard

WATERFORD - Dennis "DJ" Bouchard, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 24, 2018 after a brief illness.
DJ was born and raised in Waterford and graduated from Waterford Halfmoon High School where he was known for leading the Waterford Varsity Soccer to two State Championships. He coached youth soccer and modified soccer. In the 1996 State Championship he was the Player of the Year. He also earned an associates degree at HVCC. DJ was a manager for Stewart's Shops.
DJ is survived by his longtime best friend and fiancee, Megan and his two children, Brayden and Aubryee; his loving mother, Monica Bouchard; his brother Shane Bouchard and his wife, Becky; his nephews, Jeffrey, Colin, Miles and Ethan; his buddies, Nano and Romeo and was well known as "Uncle Deej" to many of his close friends children. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was recently predeceased by his father, Dennis L. Bouchard. All who knew him loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31st, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Waterford-Halfmoon School Booster Club, 125 Middletown Road, Waterford, NY 12188.
