ALTAMONT, NY – Dennis E. Byng, 80, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital. Mr. Byng had resided in Altamont for over 15 years. He was a full Professor of Fine Arts at S.U.N.Y. Albany before his retirement. Dennis was the husband of the late Charlotte Byng. He is survived by his sons, Colin Byng and his wife Kathleen of Albany and Kevin Byng of Altamont.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
