Dennis Edward Ned

Dennis (Denny) E. Ned was born July 20, 1958 in Troy, N.Y. to the late Emanuel Ned and Gloria Wilson Ned.

Dennis received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, N.Y.

Dennis was a lifelong resident of Troy and a graduate of Troy High School class of 1978.

He was on the track team, football team and baseball team.

He was employed at CDTA as a supervisor in 2007 until his retirement in April 2023.

He loved his job and his co-workers. He was known by his co-workers as the sharpest dresser in his CDTA uniform.

He was a golfer and sports enthusiast. His favorite teams were the Red Sox, the Mets and the Dallas Cowboys.
Denny also loved to cook, his specialty was Jerk Chicken.

Dennis enjoyed spending time with his best friends Steve (Nips) Naples (who he grew up with from age 8), Luis Santana, Bob Nelson and Don (Skinner) Benoit.

He will always be remembered by his family, friends and those who knew him as funny, kind, and loving.

He leaves to cherish his memories his twin sister Dorinda Ned, niece Kristen Ned (Nick), nephew Justin Ned, sister-in-law Donna Ned, grandniece Layla Ned and grandnephew Jaxin Ned, his favorite cousin Pennie Simon and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Denny was predeceased by his sister Yvonne (Vonnie) M. Nedd Martin, his brother Emanuel Ned, his brother-in-law Allen Martin, his grandniece Aliyah, and a grandnephew Anthony, his loving dog Mocha.
